JSAR responded on the afternoon of Friday, August 23, 2019, to Murhut Falls to work with Brinnon Fire, JCSO, Olympic National Forest, Washington State Parks and Olympic Mountain Rescue personnel on the technical rescue of a fall patient near the falls. A high line was set up to move the littered patient across the creek to the trail, and from there the patient was transported via wheeled litter to the trailhead.
JSAR responded in the early hours of Wednesday, July 31, 2019, to the Eglon area of Kitsap County to assist Kitsap ESAR with the search for a missing person, who was located shortly after daybreak.
JSAR and JCSO were dispatched on the evening of Sunday, July 14, 2019, to Hoodsport to assist Mason SAR with the search for a missing adult. The subject was located while Jefferson County assets were still en route.
JSAR was called to search for a missing child who had become separated from his group in the area of Lower Lena Lake. As JSAR arrived at the trailhead, other hikers reported he had been located near Upper Lena Lake and was being led down the trail.
JSAR assisted Mason County with a multi-day search for a subject who fell in the area of the High Steel Bridge on FR 2340.
JSAR responded to or towards searches in Mason County and Grays Harbor County and a recovery in the Coyle area over March 28, 29 and 30.
JSAR assisted JCSO with a grid search for evidence in the Port Hadlock area.
JSAR assisted Clallam County SAR with a search of areas of Miller State Park for a missing adult.
JSAR responded to the Sandy Shore Lake area to assist JCSO and Port Ludlow Fire with the finding of a hunter lost and trapped by the terrain.
JSAR and Quilcene Fire Rescue responded to the Tunnel Creek Trail to locate and carry out an injured hiker about 15 minutes up the trail.
JSAR assisted JCSO with the search for a subject in the area of the Dosewallips washout and later assisted canine teams with additional searching.
JSAR personnel assisted Snohomish SAR with the search for a subject missing in the area of Vesper Peak.
JSAR and fire units responded to the Marmot Pass Trail to retrieve a juvenile hiker reported to be injured some miles up the trail. Crews located and extracted the subject by wheeled litter.
JSAR responded with JCSO, fire personnel and other SAR agencies to Marrowstone Island to search for a Project Lifesaver subscriber. The subject was located.
JSAR responded on Christmas morning to assist staff and law enforcement with the search for an adult missing from a care facility. The subject was located.
JSAR and East Jefferson Fire Rescue crews rescued a canine from bluffs in the Middlepoint area of Port Townsend.
JSAR and JCSO responded to Marrowstone Island to locate a child who had wandered. The child was located and returned home.
JSAR personnel assisted Mason County over the course of several days in October and November with the unresolved search for an adult missing in the area of the Putvin Trail.
JSAR, JCSO, Olympic Mountain Rescue, Brinnon Fire, Quilcene Fire Rescue, NAS Whidbey Island SAR and others responded late in the evening of September 29th to locate a downed aircraft with injured occupants in the Brinnon area. The aircraft was located by ground crews and one occupant rescued by air in an operation that continued into the following day.
JSAR assisted Olympic National Park, Clallam SAR and other agencies with a search in the Sol Duc River area.
